LIES
These are lies we buy into at the collective consciousness level, that each of us believe unconsciously to one degree or another.
- Wealth=money.
- Wealth comes from having more stuff.
- Wealth is only for certain classes of people.
- There is a limited amount of wealth, therefor only few people can have it.
- Wealth is something you get outside of yourself.
- You have to do something you don’t like doing to be wealthy.
- You have to be someone you are not to be wealthy.
- You need to prove yourself and jump through a lot of hoops to become wealthy.
TRUTH
These are higher truths that we are collectively waking up to and that I invite you to claim for yourself right now.
- Wealth is an expression of your authentic truth, defined and lived by your choice. Money is just an aspect of the total experience of wealth.
- Wealth includes connection with the unseen. “Stuff” has no bearing on your sense of wealth. You can have a lot of shiny toys to show off, but still feel a deep void of lack inside. In fact, this place of lack is one of the (unconscious) motive’s people have to acquire more things.
- Wealth is for everyone. No exceptions.
- Abundance is the nature of life. There is an infinite supply.
- Wealth is a knowing, an experience, a feeling that comes from within. No external circumstances can bring to you what you are not aware of. i.e. If you are not aware of the wealth in you and look to others or circumstances to create it, you will never see it or feel it even if it’s there.
- Wealth is a natural experience tied to sharing your purpose, your unique gifts, your contributions– all of which your spirit wants to do (so you don’t have to do things you don’t want, ok?)
- Wealth is you. You are wealth. It is who you are. The truth is that if you are not being you, you will not feel your full wealth.
- You were born wealthy. You are whole, perfect and complete. Wealth is your birthright.
“True abundance is not about gathering more things, it’s about touching the place in us that is connected to the divine source of abundance, so that we know what we need in the moment will be provided.” ~Mary Manin Morrissey

Kendra,
I think this is a great post -and a great reminder for many. Western society has achieved great growth in “traditional” wealth for the past 70 years – and yet we have seen just as many social problems, unhappiness etc. As long as we attribute wealth only to money – we are cheating ourselves of a rich life.
Thanks, Jakob! Yes, a reminder of something that is “new” but very OLD. I love how you said “cheating ourselves of a rich life”. That’s what’s happening; we are consistently blocking the richness that is inherently in us and part of us. 🙂
