3 Paradigm Shifts (So You Make More Money Being You)

Posted by | March 7, 2013 | Uncategorized | No Comments

Happy March!

I’m writing this from a plane flying from Seattle to Oakland.

I just left one of my beloved places on Bainbridge Island after leading a powerful grief retreat.

Here I am playing in the woods.

It felt soooo good to ground in nature.

I really needed it. Personally, I’ve been feeling the darkness of the birth canal.

Something BIG is emerging for me!

I know it. I trust it.

In the meantime… the clearing away, the release, the unknown…. it’s brought me to my knees in a way I haven’t felt for years.

True to the cycle of life, I’m feeling the stir of new life kicking as we make our way to Spring.

Deep breaths in the ever-expansive journey.

If you’re serious about helping
more people and making more money
being you, there are 3 essential
paradigm shifts you need to make.

How do I know? You wouldn’t be here
if you didn’t need them.

Most of you struggle with money because
you are caught in dysfunctional, out-dated,
limited, depleted, stress-inducing beliefs.

These beliefs became so ingrained in the way
you think, see, perceive, respond and act in
the world that you think they are “truth”.

It’s not truth. It’s just a paradigm.

Here’s the cool thing.

You can change your paradigm.

Yep, just like that. And when you do, your
reality will change, too.

Paradigm Shift #1=

Success Comes From Becoming
The Person You Are! It Is Not
Some Place You “Get To”

For the most part, you were taught something
very wrong.

You were taught that success is outside
yourself and that it is something or some
place you will eventually get to.

Unfortunately, with the
impossible definitions of success you are
modeled to aspire to, you never attain it.

As a result, there is a constant striving and
struggling to get to something that doesn’t even
exist.

How crazy-making is that?

In this paradigm success is CIRCUMSTANTIAL, which
means that success and happiness is dependent on
circumstances. This puts a tight lid on what is
possible for you because circumstances always change,
are external and are usually determined by someone else.

But what doesn’t change– and what can help you
reside in an ongoing and lasting experience of
success and happiness– is who you are.

Choose to liberate yourself-right here, right now-
by embracing that success is a natural experience
that comes from who you are being!

“True abundance has nothing to do with what
I am having, and everything to do with what
I am being.”

~Neale Donald Walsch

Paradigm Shift #2=

Money Is Not Wealth

Let’s talk about one of the most heated,
all-consuming and sought after subjects
of our time….

MONEY!

I used to fear it, complain about it, dread it,
avoid it.

Now? I love it!

Why the complete turnaround? Well, first I was
DONE with the drama and pain I let it cause me.

Finished. Never again. (Sometimes things just
have to get so bad that you finally put your
foot down, you know?)

Then, I decided and determined what I wanted
money to mean for me and my “why” for it
(there’s a big tip for you to implement right there).

Rather than living in a reactive mode with it,
I chose what would happen with money from then on.

From victim to creator. (Come on, admit you feel
like a victim around money sometimes.)

Besides, if you know anything about the Universe,
you understand that the power of attention and intention.

When I “got” that by projecting fear and
resistance onto money, I was just getting
more of the same, I chose to take charge.

So the first thing you need to do is reinvent
your relationship with money. You need to wake
up to what it really is for, the purpose of it
and how it can actually be an ally in your life,
your business and your purpose.

In doing so, you will realize that money is FOR
you and is a PART of wealth, but not the
definition of wealth.

You will understand that it has a vital role
in your freedom, but it is not the cause or
reason for your freedom. Let’s say that one more
time (and really let it sink in for a minute).

Money is not the cause or reason for your freedom.

Freedom is what most people are really after (not money).

People think… money=>wealth=>freedom.

They seek money because they seek freedom.

In truth, both freedom and wealth are an inward experience.

“The goal should not be to make money or acquire things,
but to achieve the consciousness through which the substance
will flow forth when and as you need it.”

~Eric Butterworth

Paradigm Shift #3=

You Are Already Wealthy

I’m going to keep this one short and sweet.

Now that you’ve opened to knowing that success comes
from who you are being and that money is not wealth,
all that is left in the “attainment” of wealth is to
turn within.

That is where you’ll find your true wealth.

“Your own essence IS your wealth.”
