our conversation about refusing mediocrity

ME: I desire a life on my terms.

SOCIETY: Be a good girl
and focus on your security.

ME: But I know there is something more in my
soul. I refuse to buy into the accepted mediocrity.

SOCIETY: You’re living in
a fantasy world.

ME: Well, I trust my inner guidance will lead
to happiness and wellbeing.

SOCIETY: Inner guidance
is irrelavant. Get real. It’s a world of lack and struggle and you need to plan for your future.

ME: What other plan could there be but to
honor my desires for freedom and purpose?

SOCIETY: You’re willing to take the risks? It’s not safe.

ME: I do not understand safety through the eyes of my soul. The only risk is to deny my true self. I do not choose your confines.

SOCIETY: We’ll be over here numbing out and pretending.

ME: I’ll be doing what it takes.

SOCIETY: Don’t be too joyful; we can’t stand to see how good it can get.

ME: I did it! I created life on my terms. Let me know what you are ready to wake up with me. It’s an abundant Universe, ready to support you.
