What’s with the “freedom lifestyle business” CRAZE?!
I’m concerned that the trend may contribute to a never-ending cycle of seeking!
What grounds it in something MEANINGFUL rather than the latest thing we chase to get temporary relief from our collective quest for security and freedom?
Might I sound like a hypocrite?
Yes, I do have a freedom lifestyle business. (A frickn’ awesome one at that!)
Do I sometimes question if my posts are perpetuating a problem rather than offering a solution? Honestly, I do.
I don’t want my raves and pictures of my travels, for instance, to communicate that THIS is what it looks like to be free. That all you need to do is plant your butt on a beach and everything in life is peachy.
I don’t really know what freedom looks like to you. I have some hunches. I have some expertise about what is required for you to be free.
But, it’s personal. And it needs to be grounded in YOUR values. Not mine. Not society’s.
So don’t fall into the trap of comparison or shoulds.
Instead, be deliberate about the lifestyle you want to build.
My message is always consistent…
…. You CAN create a lifestyle you love. One that...
*Elevates the best of your talents and purpose, serves others and brings you great joy.
*Aligns with your values – that which matters to you most and is essential to your well being.
*Gives you a deep sense of satisfaction that you are being who you came to be, and that rewards you financially.
*Empowers you to have options and choices so you pursue what lights you up and keeps you stimulated, growing and prospering.
MY WARNING to you, though, is that it MUST include the ingredients that reflect an understanding of who you are and what makes you thrive!
Don’t get short changed by copying someone else’s formula.
Don’t set yourself up for disappointment by thinking a few “strategies” is all it takes.
Don’t be a victim to hype.
Instead.

YOUR terms, I tell ya!!

Because beyond the HYPE of this “freedom lifestyle business” is a deep longing. A pursuit worthy of our time.
