I am SO CLEAR that the more I’ve been true to me,

See, there are many times in my business growth
I’ve felt scared. Even terrified. 

But, unlike most people, I didn’t let it take me
out of the game.  I didn’t use fear as an excuse
to curl back into my smallness and remain resentfully
(yet secretly glad) in the familiar.

The reason? 

A WHY that is bigger than me.

I do not take my commitment to my soul’s purpose lightly.
I do not consider it an option to be at the end of my life regretting an obsession with preserving safety.
I do not settle at getting by or not living up to my sacred obligation to be who I became to be.

I am not interested in changing the world with you.
I am committed.

I am not interested in empowering women to be financially free.
I am committed.

I am not interested in contributing & making money through my authentic expression.
I am committed.

Here’s the deal…

I know FOR A FACT that most of you reading
this now are feeling a deeper call.

I know you’re scared.  I get it.

But let me be an ally that holds the belief for you.

You do have a decision before you.

Will I do what it takes because I’m committed?

Will I do what is convenient because I’m interested?

larger than myself has helped me – time and again-
get out of the way and just do what it takes.

I’ve returned to Washington and am LOVING the familiar embrace of this place.

It has been interesting to notice the tension in me as I hear voices of DO DO DO in a time that I am clearly meant to BE BE BE.

The old paradigm of productivity is changing. I welcome the Feminine aspect of creation in my success, yet I still have times where I feel I “should” be doing more.

I’m choosing and trusting the BE.

This is an important aspect of building a money and business model that helps you flourish. One that truly honors your cycles as a woman.

Let’s face it.

We’ve all been a big fat mess at one point or another.

Because we’ve been taught to be pretty girls invested
in what people think about us, we keep it hidden.

You most likely think you are doing your business and finances
a favor by not revealing your messy secret(s) to others.
But really, you are actually doing the opposite.

Why?

1) Energy pinched off anywhere is energy pinched off
everywhere.  You can’t “pinch off” your energy in one
area and expect the floodgates open in your abundance
and finances.  The flow is the flow. Either it’s open or closed.

2) There is a GIFT in your mess that will help more
people. Your mess is PART of your success!

Let’s break this down a bit further…

The first thing to do is re-frame what a mess
means for your business and success. 

It doesn’t mean you’re a failure or that it
will threaten your potential prosperity.

What a relief! 

Instead of keeping it hidden behind shame.
Instead of feeling trapped by the fear that you will be found at as a fraud.
Instead of being in a perpetual state of “I need more healing before I can help people”.

It’s a gift.

More than that, it’s key to your rich soul purpose. 

AND, when you get it — really get it — you can even make more money through it.

Let me tell you why….

The messes crack you open, revealing a deeper
soul wisdom from which higher purpose
is illuminated.

Most people judge the messes.

“This is bad.”
“There must be something wrong with me.”
“If others knew this, I’d be humiliated.”

But when you remove judgment and look
through a spiritual lens, you will see an entirely
new perspective.

One that points in you in a direction of greater
purpose and prosperity.

Let me give you an example.

6 years ago I was living in a cottage on 10
acres of land.  I was determined to understand
what it meant to be rich.

Beyond the big house.
Beyond acquiring pretty things.
Beyond others’ approval.

I wanted to FEEL rich.  In every fiber of my being.

I thought living simply in the woods would
facilitate it.  And it did.

Among my lessons… A dark night of the soul with money.

I was getting by month to month.
I was mired in money shame.
I was terrified that I wouldn’t make it.

It was during this time that I realized that I was looking
to money to determine my worth and value. Without it,
I felt like a nobody. With it, I would feel secure.

I didn’t want people to know about my money struggles.

I wanted people to think I “had it together”. 

I was promoting my business, coaching a few clients and
thought…. for SURE… if anyone knew about this, I would be
doomed.

As I connected with Source/Spirit during these dark times,
I was graced with a higher perspective that freed me
from my pain.

I was shown that this experience was part of my purpose,
and that someday my mess would be integral to serving
others.

Now, I help women become spiritually and financially free!

Looking back I can see how that messy time was necessary
to growing into my purpose. Without it, I would not
have the empathy, the presence or the tools that I use in
serving others.

There is wealth in your mess. Seriously. When you see it,
you can more easily attract clients and money. 

And because when you are in alignment with your soul’s
purpose, you can’t help but prosper, you will have unlocked
one of the greatest riches of all time.

I’m still marinating in the juiciness of my powerful
3-days with the “Conscious Business Playground”.

Ultimately, it’s something you live into.

1) Self-awareness.

Being a master of self-awareness is the true path
to empowerment. To be at choice rather than feel like
a victim to reality is the ultimate understanding of
freedom.

• Core values
• True authentic self
• Soul purpose
• Knowing your triggers & wounds

Add to that a nice solid tool bag to navigate the day to
day goings on with conscious, deliberate awareness… and
you’re good to go!

2) Business as a spiritual and global transformation agent.

Being an entrepreneur is a spiritual path for me and my
clients. It’s a mirror for where you need healing. It’s a
vehicle for accelerated growth. It’s a medium for delivering
your greatest Divine work.

Not only that, business has the power to effect global
transformation. Many leaders of our time speak to the
poignant role that business can and will play for the
greater good — a new currency, a new economy is
being born.

3) Choosing principles over profit.

Don’t get me wrong, you can make money – LOTS of money –
being in conscious business (it’s not either/or).  I don’t
believe in demonizing money. In fact, I want you to make
more of it so you have more influence in the world!

It’s just in this model, decisions about marketing, clients,
messaging, sales, money, etc. are made through principles
rather than profit. Tending to values and the greater good is
primary. Principles are not sacrificed for the bottom line.

The energies of autumn are certainly working me.

Can I just be honest with you?

I’ve been brought to my knees lately.

Personal developments have stirred deep emotion and have left me feeling totally unraveled.

The only solution for me?!

SURRENDER!

I’ve come to a new edge.

Listen, I’m not going put on a song and dance for you about what it takes to become extraordinarily successful with out getting real.

I mean, seriously.

THIS is one of the main reasons, if not THE reason, people choose mediocre results and stay asleep.

You’re going to be called out. Emptied out.

I’m not telling you this to scare you. It’s quite the opposite.

I want you to be assured that you can do it!

I want you to be equipped to handle the growth.

I want you to feel held in ALL of it– the breakdowns AND the breakthroughs.

Success is full of reward.

The deep satisfaction, core contentment and freedom derived from a path of devotion to oneself and one’s vision and purpose is infinite.

Yet, there are also the challenges that naturally arise as you expand. Becoming more visible, releasing old yet familiar patterns, standing in your power in the face
of judgment– just some of the emotionally packed things you encounter along the way.

There’s more that goes on “behind-the-scene’s” of success that not many are willing to be open about. It might effect the marketing, the persona, the perceived credibility. Right?

Wrong.

It time for a new era of leadership. One that includes vulnerability, a willingness to get real and to expose the underbelly of one’s heart and soul.

So, here I am. Opening in surrender.

Willing to share the Not-So-Sexy side with you.

And, impart the wisdom I’ve gained from yielding and declaring, “I SURRENDER!”

This autumn time of letting go is perfect for it.

I teach conscious creation. How to deliberately
and purposefully manifest your desired reality.
 
You CAN have everything you want.

It requires waking up to the power within you,
taking personal responsibility and harnessing
the art of choice.

Yet, there’s another side to creating an
extraordinary life filled with purpose and
prosperity.

One that feels vulnerable, mysterious and edgy.

At first glance, it seems the opposite of what it means
to be a powerful manifestor, but when you understand
its wisdom, it will actually accelerate your results.

SURRENDER.  

To surrender is to relinquish control.
To give up and give over.

Surrender can be frightening. Some associate
it with weakness and passivity.

It may sound threatening or terrifying,
like it’s totally contrary to being
an at choice creator. Right?

But. It’s not.

As you give up and give over power, you
actually gain more of it. It’s a paradox.

Really it’s a path to greater mastery and
communion with a higher purpose.

As you surrender the mind’s vanities and
cherished illusions you become more free
and more open to a higher Truth.

“The word “surrender” is often interpreted as giving up, as weakness,
as admitting defeat. Although this is one way to use the word, we will
use it in a different way. Surrendering means letting go of your
resistance to the total openness of who you are. It means giving up
the tension of the little vortex you believe yourself to be and realizing
the deep power of the ocean you truly are.”~David Deida

Because I am committed to sharing all I can about
the path to REAL success and wealth, I can’t help
but touch on these not-so-sexy sides.

(Somebody’s got to talk about it, right?!
Let me hear an alleluia!)

With that said, I’m going to reveal elements
that make surrender such a powerful force.
 
*HUMILITY*

Surrender has taught me humility.

In coming to the edge of all you know, in
experiencing a dissolution of who you have
identified yourself to be, there’s a humbleness
that washes about you.

It keeps you real, honest – recognizing
your humanity, as well as that of others.

Surrender releases judgment, therefor infusing
you with higher vibrations of love and understanding-
for yourself and others.

Humility in the spiritual path is associated with
a state of ego-lessness.

So it helps get you away from self-centered
and ego-identified needs and into a heart –
centered space.

In the Buddhist tradition, humility is associated
with compassion and kindness.

Humility continues to be a great teacher to me.
It’s not about shrinking, being small or being shy
in one’s pride.

It’s about getting out of the way of attachments,
accumulations and accolades that we’ve depended
upon to help us feel successful in other people’s
eyes.

It helps me become a better person to my loved one’s
and a better coach as I stretch my capacity hold presence
in loving kindness.
 
*HIGHER CONNECTION*

My willingness to surrender has helped me
access a stronger and higher connection.

When things fall apart or an unraveling occurs,
you may feel a sense of groundlessness or disorientation.

There’s an urge to grasp for something.
Some assemblance of the “known”.

Yet, in this most vulnerable, raw place,
a new kind of power is accessible.

It’s beyond your mind. It’s beyond comprehension.
It’s beyond the security of what you have known to be.

It’s a Divine Connection.

To God/Goddess/Source/Universe.
Call it what you will.

There’s a higher force at play, and when you
allow surrender, you allow it come to through.

With surrender, you recognize the limits of your
“small” mind or programmed, default thinking.

You realize it’s not enough to get you where you
need to go next.

(Remember, the same level of consciousness that
created the problem you have, the upper limit you
bump up against and/or that fear you keep
dancing with CANNOT provide you the relief
you desire.)

So you need to call on another consciousness.
One that rises above what you’ve been able
to see and know. One that illuminates a new
perspective. One that allows an insight or
revelation that opens up an entirely new world.

Ultimately, it aligns you with an even more
truer expression of your self, your purpose and
the direction before you.

No illusions. No BS. No masks.

Just you in harmony with a richer version
of your most authentic self.

Fueled and backed by a higher intelligence, you feel
a new strength that guides and sustains you.

Void of “self”, you open to an even more greater
ability to BE a vessel and agent of change grounded in
service and spirit.

*FAITH*

Part of the anxiety I’ve felt before I’ve chosen
to surrender has been sourced from my ego desire
to be in control and to be assured that all is well.

Because your “small mind” can’t see the way,
there’s an assumption that it’s not there.

But it is. Where ever there is a desire,
the Universe has the means to manifest it.

A coach said to me once,

“Fear and faith ask you to believe in the same thing.
In something that you can’t see.”

So when things fall apart.
When you or life becomes unrecognizable through change.
When you reach the edge of all you have known.

Surrender in faith.

Faith in the cycles of life.
Faith in the loving nature of the Universe.
Faith in the purpose your soul intended for you.
Faith in the truth that you will be provided for.
Faith in the Divine perfect unfolding of it all.
Faith in your spirit to guide you to what’s next.

Faith in your ability to re-build your life, your business, your money based on who you REALLY have become.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can. And wisdom to know the difference.”

Everything changed for me this day.

Witnessing the children line up for a bag of rice and a bottle of water, I felt a raging fire inside me. This is a weekly ritual that thousands of families count on for sustenance. What?!

I was livid.  I know we can do better on this planet!

I took this picture while in Nigeria, Africa in 2006. It was one of many moments where I recognized that my mission needed to transcend my fears and insecurities so that I could be the fully expressed instrument of change I am meant to be.

When I got back to America, my world turned upside down. Part of me wanted to curl up and pretend I didn’t see or feel what I did there.

Part of me wanted to become a bitter, resentful person.
Part me wanted to place blame.

But what I chose was this: To use the fierce fire to ignite a movement.

It began with taking the leap to start my business. I knew that the fastest route to impacting more lives was entrepreneurship.

The first years, I scrapped by. At times I wanted to give up. At times I doubted I had what it took.

But the impressions of those children were still with me. They called to me to rise above my self-centered concerns of failure and judgment.

Today I run a thriving company and am graced with a dream lifestyle doing what I love.

All along- through my dark nights as well as my triumphant milestones– I knew it was for something greater.

It’s not about making more money. It’s not about showing off how good my life is. It’s not about proving to others (and my ego) that I’ve “arrived” in what society has deemed success to be.

It’s about making a bigger contribution. Authentically. Freely. Unencumbered by rules and dogma.

I appeal to you to join me. Join me in arousing the fire that lives in your spirit. For more life. For higher standards. For freedom and prosperity for all.

Use your anger, your disdain, your fear, your discouragement – not as a reason to prove how evil still exits on the world or an excuse to shut down  – but as an indication that you deeply care about your fellow humanity and the well being of our earth.

I’d like to close with an affirmation:

I see, feel and know a world of prosperity and well-being for all. Who I am is a presence that contributes to the greater good. There is enough for all. The Universe truly is on our side for a life-affirming way of being that brings out the abundant best in all.

It’s been an exhilarating couple
of weeks of playful, devoted service.

You see, when you live on purpose, the line blurs between “work and play”.

This is certainly true for me, having just been in Sedona to lead an extraordinary Wealthy Goddess Mastermind Retreat and a couple private VIP days.

I went from the retreat to launching the Wealthy Goddess 2013 Telesummit, which has been a HUGE success. Women are raving about the interviews. (You can still get them for free for a limited time.)

It’s been an honor to hold space and co-create with so many women – clients & colleagues – who are leading the new paradigm of wealth and success.

Now I’m focusing on what’s coming this fall. I’m doing NEW things and really stretching out of my comfort zone. More to come on that.

You want to be wealthy?

Chances are highly likely YOU need to say NO.

Specifically, you need to say no to these Top 4 areas that otherwise, are creating a big fat wedge between you and what you say you want.

They will not be for you if you are excuse-oriented and if you want someone to rescue you. Or… if you (come on, admit it) still want to blame someone, a situation or your past.

Because…

They are part of transcending victim consciousness and living your power as a responsible creator.

#1-NO Complaining. 

Sometimes you need to vent. I get that. I do, too.

But there is a tipping point where it becomes complaining.

Complaining is useless. It doesn’t change anything.

As a matter of fact, it perpetuates more of the same.

Complaining is a reactionary state of being– reacting to people,
outward situations and circumstances from a position of victim
and helplessness.

Complaining provides the illusion of power, in that you are saying
what is wrong or bad about whatever the issue is. But really, it is a
false sense of power, rooted in victim consciousness.

TIP:  When you notice yourself complaining, pause and ask yourself
what shift you need to make in your thinking to feel in charge or if
you can truly accept what is. When you are around others who
complain, ask what they are going to do about it or leave the situation.

#2-NO Waiting.

While patience is a virtue, waiting is a life waster.

There is a distinction between patience and passivity.

Certainly practicing discernment in timing is useful.

But I’m not talking about that.

I’m talking about the illusion that if you wait long enough,
something is going to happen.

I’m talking about that idea of “some day”.

I’m talking about the waiting for permission to finally go for it.

I’m talking about the waiting for the “right” time or “right” conditions.

TIP:  Stop waiting. Decide to take action. You may not know all the “how’s”,
but you will discover that action reveals the steps you need as you go along.
You define the right time. You define the right conditions. The time is now.

#3-NO Drama. 

American culture is particularly enamored with drama.
It’s quite the phenomenon. What is it about?

Perhaps a sense of purpose is derived from it. Perhaps it brings
animation and zest in an otherwise seemingly lack-luster life.

Believe me, there are much more rewarding places
to ignite the flare that drama offers.

If you want to really live, you’ve go to let go of drama.

It is an energy drainer, and it keeps you in “story” mode.

Story mode keeps you small and limited.

And it depletes a whole lot of life force energy!

TIP:  If you engage in drama, notice how you feel. Pause. Breath.
Do you feel free? Does the story “have” you? Disengage.
Tune in with what you want and shift your attention to being
in a way that will create it.

#4- NO Fear.  

Unless you’re being chased by a tiger or your life is threatened, turn off the “fight or flight” mode.

Seriously. A lot of you (unconsciously) are making decisions about your dreams, your money, your marketing, how you use your time, etc. based in fear.

Fear of…

• Judgment
• Scarcity
• Ridicule
• Abandonment

The list goes on.

Fear is VERY convincing. So much so, that you think it’s “real”, and you let yourself become trapped in its grasp.

Your ability to manifest, capacity to attract wealth and overall quality of life is eroded through fear consciousness. You cannot create more abundance, more clients, more opportunity on fear because it is not a vibrational match to those experiences.

A general rule for me – If it doesn’t feel good when I think it, it’s a lower vibration (i.e. fear based) thought.

Raise your standards and be a fierce gatekeeper who adamantly says no to fear.

TIP: Get clear on your “core” fears and create a plan to love yourself when they arise. Create an alternate course for your head, directing your thoughts and feelings. For example, create affirmations that become part of your subconscious programming over time that support the opposite of your core fears.

I’ve long been a spirit with a drive to change the world.

When I got how profound this is and began
implementing it, everything changed.

Instead of “some day”. Instead of “when I get the
money”. Instead of “I don’t know how it can happen.”

The results started NOW.

See, when you wait for circumstances to reveal to
you when the time is right, you will just be in
a waiting game.

Your circumstances are a result of your
consciousness. SO if you want different results,
don’t count on circumstance, count on consciousness.

Your current results are a reflection of your past
consciousness. If you are not getting the results you
want, you can’t expect them to increase, grow or
advance through the same consciousness.

The first thing I applied this to was hiring a coach.
I had waited. And waited. And waited. For the money
to reveal.

I knew that big gains in my business and money
would come from investing in a mentor in a bigger way.

With this new success teaching, I asked myself,

“What would I do right now if I had
the results I want to get to?” 

It was clear, I would say yes to the investment.

I did.  And THEN, the resources appeared.

I BLACKED OUT.

This is really personal.

I had a black out the other night.

What does it mean?
Why did it happen?
What is Spirit telling me?
What wants to emerge that I was not
hearing or honoring?

In my experience, I traveled
another dimension of consciousness.

I was in a “void”.

After a bit, I heard a really quiet voice
that seemed far away, “Kendra!”.

I could feel the urgency.

And then I heard another voice,
“Listen to her voice!”

Then what seemed like a distant call
came through an echoey chamber into
the present reality.

“Kendra!” “Kendra!”

My eyes slowly fluttered open.

I realized I had “left” for a time.

Sweaty and speechless, all I could
focus on was the simple act of breath.

Breath in. Breath out.

The next hour and a half was a spiritual
discipline. It took ALL my concentration
to stay present.

A chant came that I was taught in Peru
while blasting through a terror barrier
climbing Waynu Picchu (the peak you
see behind Machu Picchu). ===>

“Warrior Woman, Warrior Woman
Come to me.
Warrior Woman, Warrior Woman
Come to me.

I need your wisdom for this age.
I need your wisdom for this age.”

It was a saving grace.

ANOTHER WAKE UP CALL?

I am approaching this as I have approached my life
since I had a HUGE wake up call in my early 20’s…

With spiritual inquiry, deliberate choice
and deep abiding trust.

In my “Meet Kendra” page on my website, I share
one of the defining moments of my life.

As I revealed,

“…just prior to this time I was confused, lost and depressed.
I was making decisions based on what I thought others wanted
of me. My sense of direction and future was nowhere near
what my heart and soul wanted, and I was terrified to step into
what that was.”

I came to believe the seizures were the Universe literally
shaking me out of a reality that was sucking my Soul dead.

Now, I don’t think that the incident the other night
was as big of a wake up call. It might not be one at all.

I am no where near that depressed, lost and scared young
woman I once was.

I am happy.
I am prosperous.
I do work I love.
I live my dream life.

However, I have been going through
major up-leveling this year.

I’ve been stretched and called out big time.

My business is consistently growing by leaps.
(For example… I’ve hired a new Business Manager.
And…  I’m going to lead a new event in November!)

Part of me just wants to hide. It’s getting a bit
“hot in here” as far as my ego is concerned!

So… while this black out the other night does
not feel like a big wake up call, it sure keeps
me alert and awake to what matters.

Honestly, as I lay there in that hour & a half
staying present to each moment with great
diligence, I DID feel the urgency!

Don’t hide out, Kendra.
Engage the next level of your purpose, Kendra.
Stay true to who you are as you lead the way, Kendra.

HOW MY BLACKOUT CAN HELP YOU.

In addition to re-prioritizing my time to tend to
my health (I canceled my trip to Atlanta) and
to be strong for my retreat in 2 weeks in Sedona…

I’ve been meditating on how what took place
could serve you.

This is what came through.

and BE the person you are here to be.

Now is the time.

WHAT IS A WAKE UP CALL?

A wake up call is a nudge (or scream!) from
your soul to come out of your slumber.

You need an adjustment, a shift or even a radical change-
you’ve been hanging out in comfort-zone-ville for too long-
and it’s time to make it happen!

A wake up call is FOR you. It’s one of the many ways the Universe
supports you in getting into right Divine Alignment with who you are,
your birthright to abundance and your soul’s purpose.

Since we are all so programmed to live OUT of alignment, your
soul comes up with “techniques” to help you wake up.

It’s a mirror to get you to see something you have
been dismissing or in denial about.

It’s a command to come out about who you really are
and what you are here for.

It’s a reality check as to how your current life is out of sync
with your purpose and greater meaning.

It’s a turning point, a defining moment.

See, you weren’t meant for mediocrity. You weren’t designed for struggle!

And your soul knows this. You are destined for Divine Abundance.

But like so many, you picked up limited beliefs that took you
away from who you really are and you adapted to social norms
to keep you “safe”.

The problem, from the soul’s perspective, is that you are not
programmed for safety.

You are programmed for aliveness, for joy, for prosperity,
for purpose, for contribution, for fulfillment!!

A wake up call helps you remember this.

WHY DO I NEED A WAKE UP CALL?

Most people go about their life with a certain level of
denial or numbness.

In an effort to manage and tolerate the less than satisfactory
elements of life, denial and numbing out are common techniques
to help sooth our aching souls.

At first, it may work for you.

Yet eventually, the growing desire of your soul just bursts forth.

Now, because this is a friendly Universe, you do get to make
adjustments willingly. Through ease and grace, a prompting and
gentle nudge is all that is required to change up the game.

In fact, you are given cues and synchronicity along the way
to help you wake up and stay awake. It doesn’t have to hurt.

The problem is, most of you are still ignoring the signs.

Your fear is running the show and creates all kinds of excuses
and scenario’s to keep you in what it perceives as “security”.

Then what?

• You hold back.
• You hit your income ceiling.
• You stay in work that is not fully the sweet spot of joy.
• You don’t write your book.
• You contort yourself to be someone you’re not so you are liked.
• You tell yourself “someday” you will get to your dreams (which never comes).
• You allow a certain level of discontent to be normal.
• You adjust to the belief that scarcity is real.

On some level, you are restless. Things are not quite
what they could be. A longing tells you there’s more.

HOW CAN I AVOID A WAKE UP CALL?

Wake up calls can be gentle.

But they can also be harsh, traumatic and so urgent, you can’t ignore them.

And that’s the point.

Your soul does not want you to ignore who you are any longer.

So, if you don’t want to feel the jarring impact of a dramatic wake up call?

Stay true to your self.
Don’t hang out too long in your comfort zone.
Make tolerating – of any kind – unacceptable.

Listen to the inner, higher presence that guides you
to what is alive.

THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE.

Some believe wake up calls are an essential part
of our spiritual growth and evolution.

I agree, yet I assert that life no longer needs to be hard
or a struggle.

Learning, growing and evolving does not have to come
through pain. I believe that’s an old paradigm and energy
no longer serving us.

Wake up calls are great assistants in designing a life
and business of meaning and fulfillment– based on
who you really are and what matters to you.

But, you don’t NEED them in order to build the extraordinary
and prosperous life that naturally comes from authentic alignment.

Choose to be awake so that you don’t eventually find
yourself in a dire and/or scary situation that necessitates
it.

With this comes a deep contentment and freedom.
The kind that if you don’t choose for yourself, your soul
will orchestrate ways to help you choose it.
