Letting Go (Not Sexy, Plenty Messy)

And the adventure continues!

I had a blast in the Bay Area speaking at 2 events (here I am on an expert panel at my friend Susan Liddy’s event), preparing for REACH, shooting my own video for an upcoming launch, rocking out at ecstatic dance & playing on the beach.

I’m back in Tuscon for less than a week, with VIP clients today and then I’m heading out on Thursday for a retreat at a hotsprings.

So, just a heads up, I’ll be UNPLUGGED for 4 days.

From there, I return to one of my favorite places, Sedona. I’ll be co-leading the transformational REACH experience.

In the midst of all the movement, I do feel a deep stillness.

My core stillness is derived from my devotion to live in harmony with who I am. And in harmony with the Universal rhythm of life.

During this season, the natural rhythm is to let go.

Like the leaves dancing their way to the earth, the time is now for you to release and let go of what no longer serves you.

So many of you focus on the MORE part of cycle of life. The new beginnings. The bigger, better experiences. Greater prosperity.

But here’s the deal, you are only capable of receiving greater health, wealth & prosperity in proportion to your willingness to let go.

It’s not the sexy part of growth.

In fact, it can be down right messy.

But you can’t truly prosper without it.

The truth is that in your quest for more, more, more, you may be actually failing to receive more.

Because you are ignoring and denying this part of the cycle.

It’s the letting go.

The emptying out.

The release.

The last 15 months of travel has definately been a journey in letting go for me…

Letting go of place as a way of feeling like I belong.

Letting go of security in the familiar.

Letting go of identifying my worth through proving my material gain (or lack of).

Letting go of the non-essentials.

Letting go of my attachment to approval from others.

Yes, there have been wet, slimy, all over the face tears and waves of grief. (Love those pillows for a good punching.)

It’s so worth getting messy.

All this letting go has relieved me of burdens and helped me lighten up.

AND… check this out… my business has more than doubled again!

Yep, I absolutely know that letting go is a precursor to letting in.

My ability to receive abundance, clients, opportunity, beauty, grace, fortune… is in direct proportion to my willingness to let go.

If I’m hanging on and clinging to what I identify with as making me “me”, I am bound. My channels for receiving are closed.

But when I release and surrender, I offer myself as an empty vessel. I hold myself up like a cup to life, willing to be filled again.

Here’s a list of things you could choose to let go of that would bring you more prosperityas well as a heck of a lot more peace.

  • Attachment
  • Suffering
  • Resentment
  • Stuff
  • Being right
  • The past
  • Money
  • Validation
  • Approval
  • Being liked
  • Energy drainers
  • People you don’t vibe with anymore
  • It being hard
  • Control

What are you willing to let go of?
