Your Freedom Depends On…

I’m still in the after glow from the phenomenal Wealthy Goddess Sedona retreat. I’m so grateful to be living my purpose.

One of my core values is freedom.

It’s been a strong force in my own healing & liberation, and is a huge motivator for helping you.

I want you to be free!

During this American holiday, I get riled up and re-invigorated about what it REALLY means to be free.

Honestly?!

While I’m super grateful to be free & have all the privileges I do, it’s not enough.

I’m not fully satisfied until you — and we as a collective — truly become free.

See, most people’s independence is actually IN dependence. That is, you are still dependent on external factors to determine your sense of freedom.

Yes, there is much to celebrate & be thankful for.

Yet I propose that there’s a whole new place of liberation we can access together!

I’m talking REAL freedom.

See, there are some big fat misconceptions about your freedom that undermine your ability to TRULY be free.

Now, you may not think this applies to you.

I know… you’ve done a ton of personal & spiritual growth work and you are so beyond these kinds of influences. (Wink, wink)

But we’ve got to be honest in service to freedom…

There’s some faulty thinking out there!

It goes something like this, “When _____ happens, I will be free.”

While many of you are walking around disguised as free beings, in truth, you are still dependent on certain things happening in order to feel free.

Your joy, prosperity, peace — are contingent on something outside of you.

This is NOT freedom.

When your freedom depends on the external, you are still trapped.

The 3 most common & insideous ways this shows up are:

1) Money

“When I have _____ amount of money, I will be free.”

Money keeps you prisoner.

You make decisions based on it. You stress over it. You put your dreams on hold because of it.

And… you think that you will be free when you have more of it.

Not so.

NO amount of money will make you free.

2) Circumstance

“When this _____changes, I will be free.”

One of my magnificent mentors, Connor Sauer, talks about how in our attempt to get out of prison, we move around the furniture.

You think re-arranging the furniture will make it better, but you are still behind bars.

Attempting to shift circumstances to feel free is a temporary solution.

And waiting for what is going on outside of you to change keeps you perpetually dependent.

3) Relationship

“When you show up this way____, I will be free.”

It’s the classic dependency.

This is a clever one, because you can convince yourself that it’s really for their own growth. Or that it’s because you care about them and want them to heal.

But you still are requiring someone to do something or be someone in order for YOU to feel relief.

You must stop giving your power away to others if you want to be free.

____________________________

You’ve been conditioned to believe that there is something or someone that is required to show up in a certain way in order to be free. Outside appearences and conditions must be like ____. Once this happens, you will be free.

NOT!

True freedom is unconditional.

The truth is, when you tap the essence of your being, you will be free.

No amount of money, no circumstance and no person can create the feeling of freedom you long for.

Only you can create it.

You have the power to access this freedom right now.

It begins with getting real about your dependencies, pledging an allegiance to your soul, and committing to live from the truth inside you.
